Notes

We start again where the party last killed Kelek and Warduke. A stairs leading up into the central tower, where the party knows is a vault. But when they start walking the steps they can hear 2 fimiliar voices. Those of Bavlorna and Endelyn. Endelyn as ever is again convinced she knows how bad this is going to end for the characters. And she againt taunts the characters to do what ever they think is best. As all of them will lead to a bad ending.

In the room where they meet the 2 hags, there is a giant hole leading outside. Midair floats a human knight with a big mustash. He seems to be frozen in space just as the other people. If he would be freed he would definitly plummed into the vortex below. Probably killing him.

The characters try to pass the hole in the wall. Endelyn tried to push Connie with a magehand into outside the building. Jet she fails. The party doesn't think much of it and is just very carefull continueing on the stairs leading up.

The hags let them pass but Endelyn keeps reminding them this will be a tragic ending to walking into. Arriving in the floor above is a door with a hart symbol above the door. The door opens and reveals a room containing just a black book on a pedistal. Under infuence of detect magic, the party knows the book shows abjuration magic. Rio is curious and picks up the book and starts paging through it. The book is full of names. Many of which have been crossed out. With a quick read through the only name that they recognise is Thinnings. His name is not crossed out. Eventually they notice that the latest names entered in the book are:

• Kelek
• Zarak
• Zargash
• Warduke
• Skylla

The handwriting of these final names is different that the other names in the book.
Rio also puts down his name. Nothing seems to happen. Eventually they decide to note down all of their names and cross out the names of the League of Malevolence.

With the use of identify they finally understand that having your name in this book allows you access through locked doors in the Palace of Heart's Desire.

Next Rio takes a glance at the top floor of the central tower. Finding a locked door with a large numbers of cogs. On an inspection they can read the text "Speak my name" on the door knob. While they use the Chime of Opening on the door a few times, the cogs on the door seem to move. But at no use the door gets unlocked. They finally decide to first deal with the hags. As they are worried that they might want to get into the vault to. And if they open it, the hags might take advantage of that.

So they head back down and a fight brakes out with Endelyn and Bavlorna.
In this fight Rio is polymorphed into a cow and thrown out of the hole in the wall. Luckely Leaf polymorphs him again in a bird. So he manages to not fall into the vortex and be saved.

The fight goes well for the party. But when Endelyn is on the edge of dying she seems to no longer take any damage. But Connie had a clear plan that Endelyn did not forsee. Using his Cloak of Many Fashions he makes a picture of an eclypse. With a scared look Endelyn is finally killed. After which Bavlorna no longer was a match for the party. With all hags dead the party starts licking their wounds.

While trying to Long Rest they are interupted by a voice from below. While they investigate they see a figure and a zombie form of Bavlorna. The guy looks at the party and then jumps out of the hole in the wall. Never to be seen again. The party once again have to fight Bavlorna's undead figure.

After which they can finally take the well deserved Long Rest.
After the rest they are investigating the vault door again. They opt to go speak to Iggrik. He might know something to help the party.

2 characters fly towards his tower. After informing him all the hags are dead he agrees to join them help with the vault door. But he is not freely giving the information. The party understands the "Name" the door speaks off is the name of Zybilna. Yet while speaking the name Zybilna nothing seems to happen.

Iggrik eventually tells the party Zybilna is not her real name. Her real name is Natasha. The vault opens. This is where we end the session
