Notes
The party start in front of Loomlurch and Osros discusses with Will why he didn't follow their assignment to get the paintings. Osros distrusts Will. A plan comes up to have Will touch the brambles to see if the painting of the unknown being is him.
He is annoyed and has non of that plan while they are here for the common goal. He is not willing to give them the Unicorn Horn if this is the way.
They meet with Elkhorn one of the fighters from Valor's Call. Valor's Call is a group of fighters that were seeking out the League of Malevolence to destroy them as they are an evil group seeking only power. Elkhorn tells the party that they got here through Ringlerun's teleportation portal. The moment they stepped out of the portal they were suprised by pure chaos. A battle between them, the League of Malevolence and the Hourglass Coven. At some point everything stopped and Elkhorn was carried away by someone blindfolded. He was taken to Loomlurch where he was put into the small prison of Skabatha below the kitchen floor. He still doesn't know why.
JID gets a piece of a bramble from the painting room. And they test it on JID. The 5 paintings change into 5 deep gnomes. The party travels back to Little Oak.
To make sure the magic of the paintings works outside of Loomlurch the party pricks Tasty. Now all paintings represent a mushroom.
Osros asks to Will if it is him they saw in the 1 painting previously. Will says no. Osros doesn't trust him so he likes Will to prove so by getting pricked by the brambles and see what appears on the paintings.
Will doesn't understand the distrust and now distrusts Osros. He tells the party if this is how it is, he is no longer willing to part with the Unicorn Horn in exchange for the freeing of the children of Loomlurch. The party steps in and calms them down. But Osros keeps mentioning it once in a while.
Eventually Osros is thrown out of Little Oak to sleep outside. Will doesn't want to be bothered in his sleep. Connie joins Osros outside of Little Oak. Eventually the party does a Long Rest
Party goes back to Loomlurch. Where the alarm is still ringing. Elkhorn starts destroying the scarecrows that make the alarm sounds. The rest of the party runs through Loomlurch trying to find stuff they missed. Particularly the rocking horse and any magical items.
The party finds Letter from End to Skab, some magic books that have abjuration magic on them, which will turn them to dust if they are remove from a place.
And after carrying it for a long way, Osros decides to crank the handle on the oversized Jack-in-a-Box. A Wyrmling Green Dragon appears out of it and attacks the party. But it is dealt with quickly.
Next they travel to Wayward Pool. As needed they dress up as unicorns to be able to enter the magical area. Crossing the lake in several ways. Osros swims but notices it is much more tiering than expected. Zarak is magically bound above the Wayward Pool isled through Lamorna's magic.
They have a conversation with Lamorna but she is still not open to physically help. So the party leaves again towards Little Oak.
Before they arrive Osros again throws up the discussion of stabbing Will. Elkhorn is a bit annoyed and doesn't understand the distrust either. And tells the party that if this is how they expect to get rid of the Hourglass Coven than it's not for him. And would better travel alone to find a way back home. The party calls for a vote of stabbing Will. The majority is against doing so. So the topic is settled.
Arriving at Little Oak the party sees the children are still there and playing around the tree. They speak to Will again as they are puzzled what to do next. The balloonist is a 3 day wait before he gets back. JID is able to send a message via sending. Aside from that the party meets again with Squirt who tells the party he is able to get them to Yon. But without arms to point in an direction Squirt just mentions the party that they are traveling in the wrong direction when they are not going the right way.
The party decides to get the balloon back to Downfall to deliver the paintings. After that they can use the balloon and Squirt to get to Yon. But as they have a day to kill before their balloon to travel back arrives, they decide to visit Nib to see if he is able to give them anything else that can help them in their objective.
So the party goes back to Nib's Cave. But find it totally left empty. Not a coin to see. So the party decides to stay in the cave for today and travel tomorrow to catch their balloon flight to Downfall
This means they do a Long Rest again.
Next day they travel to the place where they expect the balloon to arrive and travel back to Downfall. There they go and meet again with Bavlorna. See invites the party back in and asks them if they manage to fulfil their objective to Return portrait of Bavlorna. The party hands over the 5 paintings. Although all paintings show a picture of a mushroom. Bavlorna seems to push the guild of that to Skabatha. She asks what again they made as a deal to get in return.
The party advocates a second for more that the promised 2 lost items. But Bavlorna tells them they did also not uphold her request by not bringing the painting of herself. Eventually they settle in just getting what is list of Osros and Connie.
Osros is given a Wand of Secrets that he has a strong pull to. And holding it makes him feel whole again.
Connie is given a Cloak of Many Fashions that he has a strong pull to. Wearing it makes him feel whole again.
Finally the party has taken the balloon and under guidance of Squirt they are on their way to Yon
This is where we conclude the session and the party LEVEL UP
